New Trail Alert: Highball Opening

On Friday, June 17 the second new trail of the season opens. As you’ve been enjoying the fruits of their labor riding the trails, the Loon trail crew have been putting in the hours on the hill. New for 2022, Highball offers an intermediate route off the top, this blue-square freeride trail is packed with intermediate sized jumps, big berms and will showcase Loon’s first Drop feature. If you're not quite ready to rip the jumps and drop, all those features are passible on the trail. As you cruise down Highball, you’ll pass directly under the Kanc 8 offering you a unique view of the lift and stunning views of the National Forest. It’s full steam ahead as you cross Loon Mountain Park.

Highball connects into the existing trail network with direct access to Derailer and Bandit, which also makes its debut this Friday. Work continues on Hotshot which will offer a more direct connection back the Kanc 8 and Governor Adams Lodge.
