Ride Blue Top To Bottom – New Trail Hotshot Opens

New terrain just keeps on coming! Hotshot is the newest trail to open giving riders the most direct route back to Kanc 8. Opening for Friday Night Bikes on June 24, Hotshot is a blue-square freeride trail branching from Cinder. The trail features intermediate-sized rollers and jumps most of which are in full view of the Governor Adams Lodge—great for spectators. Riders now have a 2-mile long top-to-bottom blue freeride run, starting with Highball, on to Derailer, then Cinder and finishing with Hotshot.

The initial build out of Hotshot started in fall 2021 when crews began work on the upper portion. Work continued this spring and the crew moved onto more detailed handwork. Meanwhile equipment operators were marking, cutting and shaping the lower portion of the trail that is the home stretch.
