Loon Mountain Resort Opens Ninja Wild and Bike Park for Summer Season

Lincoln, NH (May 27, 2023) Loon Mountain Resort has kicked off the 2023 summer season with the opening of Ninja Wild, mountain bike park and Gondola Skyride.

Outdoor Ninja Course

Saturday commenced the opening of Ninja Wild—an outdoor ninja course packed with wilderness-themed obstacles, putting kids and adults to the test as they bound between a variety of obstacles and close out the course by rallying up the warped mountain. Located at the Governor Adams Lodge, this activity is the first of its kind in the White Mountains and is perfect for those looking to get outside and put their speed, strength, and agility to the test.

Guests can purchase Ninja Wild sessions ranging from all-day, one-hour or all summer. Friday Night sessions are also an option for those looking to kick start the weekend with an evening adventure.

Mountain Bike Park Expands

On opening day, riders enjoyed 5 miles of terrain, covering 1,000 vertical feet. All of which are accessed via Kancamagus 8, the most technologically advanced chairlift in North America. The high-speed lift can transport riders up to the top in just over four minutes and features Doppelmayr's Bike Clip technology where riders load and unload their own bike.

Since opening in 2019, Loon’s mountain bike park has grown to over 11 miles of terrain, with more expansion on the horizon for 2023 . An additional two and a half miles of expert and intermediate trails are scheduled to open this summer including the completion of King Pin, Loon’s first black diamond freeride trail clocking in at over 1.25 miles in length.
