A Successful Week on Snow = More Progress
After eight days of training, we're rolling into the New Year with lots more to do, and lots more to learn.
Report Cards | All Programs
Early-season report cards have been sent to your email. This should give you an idea what your child has been learning in their program to date, and where they're headed for the next few weeks.
Coaches are shifting gears as their groups progress, to help everyone continue to learn and have fun.
If you did not receive a report card, please email Joe Weeks.
IFSA Info Session | January 11
Joe Weeks will host an IFSA information session at 1:30PM in the Seasonal Programs building. Athletes and parents will have a chance to learn more about the organization, events, and requirements.
If your athlete intends to compete in the Sunday River IFSA competition on February 14 - or you just want to learn more - be sure to attend this information session with your child.
Reach out to Joe with any questions.
Comp Team Update
After a successful week of training and lots of podium finishes from Rail Jam #3 at Ragged Mountain, coaches are proud and impressed with the level of progression they have seen from all the athletes.
The competition schedule is quiet for a few weekends, providing a great opportunity to work hard and continue to learn.
January 24 | Practice Competition
Coaches will hold an informal practice competition in Springboard at 9:00AM ahead of the upcoming slopestyle event to give athletes an opportunity to practice combining tricks on the course. Speak with your athlete's coach or Joe Weeks for more information.
January 25 | Slopestyle Competition
We have a home slopestyle event in Springboard on January 25. Registration for this competition is now closed, as the event is full. We have two weekends to train on the course - let's make the most of it.

Tips for Success
Check these tips to make the most of the season.
Dress For Success
New England weather is changeable, and it's good to be prepared. Groups go out in all weather. Please check the forecast.
- Helmet & Goggles: Not required, but highly recommended
- Jacket & Snow Pants: Waterproof/water-resistant outerwear is key to comfort.
- Long Underwear, Socks & Layers: Best to have extras on hand
- Mittens, Gloves, Neck Warmers: It's personal preference, but most people find mittens to be warmer. Don't forget a neck warmer.
In the Bag
It's always a good idea to pack extra items in your child's bag. Having these items handy when needed goes a long way to your child being comfortable in their sessions. Leave the bag with your child's coach, who will make it easily available. Please keep these things in your child's bag:
- Hand and toe warmers
- Extra gloves or mittens
- Extra neck warmers or balaclavas
- Extra layers
- Extra socks
- Extra undergarments and outerwear for youngsters
