How We Snow Report
The following is a description of how Loon Mountain Resort officially reports on recent snowfall and updates the Mountain Report.
Method: Snowfall measurements are taken by Ski Patrol. These totals are reported twice daily. The snow stake is wiped clean after each reading.
Location: Measurements are taken at our snow stake on the top of Loon Peak.
Time: The Mountain Report is updated twice daily with snow totals. 60 minutes prior to first chair and 2pm. (The Mountain Report will be updated regularly with any operational changes.)
