Ages 4-13

Children’s programs for ages 4–13 are outdoor programs based at the Children’s Center, near the Governor Adams Lodge. Featuring dedicated warm-up space and a private on-snow learning area, the Children’s Center is the ideal home base for aspiring skiers and riders.

Ages 4–6

We make learning fun! Nurturing programs staffed by professional instructors encourage these energetic kids to explore.

Children spend up two hours of skiing or snowboarding in the morning and up to two hours on snow in the afternoon. Beginners have access to a private learning area, with a dedicated surface lift.

Ages 7–13

For these little rippers, it's all about fun and safety on the slopes.

They can push their boundaries as they explore new and stimulating experiences. These kids can expect to spend a bit more time on snow — up to two and one-half hours in the morning, and two and one-half hours on snow in the afternoon.

Please note: children participating in lessons for ages 4+ must be fully potty trained.

Check In & Rental Equipment

Check in at the Children’s Center, located near the Governor Adams Lodge.
Reserved rental equipment will be at the Children's Center.
Please note: a parent or guardian must remain at Loon throughout your child’s lesson.
Allow ample time for check in during weekends and holiday periods.

Parking Guide

Pick Up

At the end of their lesson, pick up your child in the outdoor lesson meeting area, located on the slopeside of the Governor Adams Lodge.

Reserve Lessons in Advance

Group lessons do sell out, and availability can change. Check online for current availability.

Reservations are strongly recommended, especially during weekends and holiday periods. Reserve lessons online 48 hours or more in advance. For example: for a Saturday lesson, reserve online by Thursday.
