Loon Peak
Loon opened on December 27, 1966 with 12 trails serviced by 2 lifts. Today the Loon Peak pod includes 34 trails and 4 lifts.
White Mountain Express Gondola

History
This is the second gondola in this alignment. The original gondola, a Polig Heckel Bleichert, ran from 1966 through 1988.
Construction of the current gondola was completed in July 1988, and uses some of the original tripod towers of the PHB gondola.
The gondola comfortably brings guests to the 2,070-foot summit of Loon Peak in all seasons.
East Basin Double Chairlift

History
The East Basin trail pod was added 1968, along with a Hall Lift double chairlift. This lift provides a cozy alternative route to the Loon Peak summit and some more difficult terrain.
This lift generally operates weekends and holiday periods.
Seven Brothers Express Quad

History
The Seven Brothers Express Quad is the third lift in this location. A Hall Lift double chair operated from 1966 through the spring of 1985. A CTEC triple chairlift occupied this location from 1985 through 2022.
The current lift contains components of the Kanc Quad, refurbished by our ropeway partner Doppelmayr.
North Peak
Skiing on North Peak opened in 1984 with a CTEC Triple Chair, 5 new trails and the Camp III lodge.
North Peak Express Quad
Features
- Over 1,500 feet vertical
- Direct access to some of Loon's most iconic terrain, including Walking Boss, Flume and East Basin trails.
- At the base of the lift is Camp III lodge, a perennial favorite for a mid-mountain break to refuel
History
This is the second lift in this location.
After 20 years, the chairlift was retired and a high-speed quad installed to access the North Peak terrain, cutting the ride time from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.
Spotty cell service in this area makes it the perfect excuse to unplug, relax and enjoy the view.
West Basin
When constructed in 1986, this lift pod featured two trails, Soft Boyled – a nod to the seven Boyle brothers and sisters – and Over Easy.
Kissin' Cousin Double

History
The West Basin opened in 1978 with a double chairlift. This double chair was half of a pair of double chairs that utilized conjoined towers for the lower lift line. Its sibling was constructed in 1982 and serviced the lower slopes.
In 1995, this CTEC lift was realigned to provide a better experience for beginner skiers and riders.

History
The Kanc 8 is the third chairlift in this location.
The original double chairlifts were removed in 1995 to make way for Loon's first high-speed quad chairlift. From 1995 until 2021 the Kanc Quad occupied this location.
The quad was replaced in 2021 by the Kancamagus 8, the only 8-place chairlift east of the Rockies.
South Peak
South Peak offers convenient, direct mountain access, one mile from Interstate 93. Two lifts service the peak.
Timbertown Quad

Timbertown Quad was added in 2023 to provide direct ski access and beginner terrain, conveniently close to town.
Lincoln Express Quad

Lincoln Express Quad opened in 2007, providing additional skiable acreage. Servicing intermediate and advanced long cruisers, this lift can help you rack up some impressive vertical by noon.
