Chairlift Use During Children’s Lessons

During lessons, children may ride chairlifts with an instructor, another capable adult, or—when appropriate—on their own. Our team follows structured safety practices that include helping young children load, advising the use of restraint bars when available, and maintaining close communication with lift operators to ensure a smooth experience.

Please note that:

  • Children 6 and under (or 7 and under in mixed-age groups) typically ride with an instructor or capable adult.
  • Your child may ride a chairlift without an instructor or adult at times, depending on age, ability, and operational needs.

If you prefer that your child not ride chairlifts—or not ride without an instructor—please let our team know before the lesson.
