Learn With Confidence

South Peak expansion offers Loon Mountain's dedicated learning area, thoughtfully designed to help new skiers and snowboarders build skills in a comfortable, uncrowded setting.

With its own Timbertown Quad chairlift and 11 beginner-friendly trails, it's the ideal place to learn at your own pace without the pressure of more advanced terrain.

Wide, gentle slopes provide plenty of room to practice turning, stopping, and linking your first runs, and the dedicated lift keeps you focused on learning instead of navigating busy base areas. Whether you're taking your very first lesson or progressing beyond the basics, South Peak offers an encouraging environment where confidence grows with every run.

Find Your Season

From first turns on the novice slopes to USASA competition circuits, to relaxing midweek mornings on the mountain, Loon Mountain's seasonal programs are built around dedicated coaching, skill progression, and the kind of camaraderie that lasts well beyond the final day on snow.
