Why Take a Private Lesson?
Whether your goal is to confidently navigate your first green trail, master carving turns, improve your mogul skiing, or venture into glades, your instructor will create a lesson plan designed just for you.
More Than Personalized Coaching
It's your opportunity to maximize every minute on snow. Benefits include:
- Customized coaching based on your goals and ability.
- Accelerated skill development with focused, one-on-one instruction.
- The flexibility to explore terrain that matches your confidence and progression.
- Personalized feedback to refine technique and overcome challenges.
Learn More. Experience More.
As your skills grow, so does the mountain.
Private lessons unlock the confidence to explore more of Loon—from scenic beginner terrain and long cruisers to steeper groomers, terrain parks, and advanced trails.
Spend less time figuring out what to do next and more time discovering everything the mountain has to offer.
Perfect for Every Ability
No matter where you're starting, your lesson is built around helping you reach the next level.
- First-time skiers and snowboarders.
- Beginners looking to build confidence quickly.
- Intermediate and advanced guests refining technique.
- Friends with similar abilities.
- Guests returning to the sport after time away.
Make Every Run Count
The best days on snow are the ones where you leave feeling more confident than when you arrived.
A private ski or snowboard lesson gives you the personalized coaching, flexibility, and expert guidance to make faster progress, explore more of the mountain, and create memories that last long after the season ends.
Chairlift Use During Children’s Lessons
During lessons, children may ride chairlifts with an instructor, another capable adult, or—when appropriate—on their own. Our team follows structured safety practices that include helping young children load, advising the use of restraint bars when available, and maintaining close communication with lift operators to ensure a smooth experience.
Please note that:
- Children 6 and under (or 7 and under in mixed-age groups) typically ride with an instructor or capable adult.
- Your child may ride a chairlift without an instructor or adult at times, depending on age, ability, and operational needs.
If you prefer that your child not ride chairlifts—or not ride without an instructor—please let our team know before the lesson.
