Competition Team
Hungry for Competition
If you have an athlete hungry to reach the podium, the Comp Team will help you get there. Loon’s most intensive seasonal program is designed around the competitive circuit where participants train and compete in USASA (United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association) events throughout the season. Freestyle-focused coaches work with athletes to promote sportsmanship and develop a strong work ethic. Traveling coaches accompany athletes at competitions/events.
With its award-winning progression of terrain parks, Loon is the ideal training ground for aspiring snowboarders and freeskiers and the Competition Team is how they reach the next level.
Requirements
Comp Team is open to skiers and snowboarders ages 8–17 who are comfortable on blue-level terrain and can independently load a chairlift. To verify age eligibility, a copy of the child's birth certificate is required.
Comp Team participants are expected to compete in a minimum of 3 USASA events held at Loon Mountain. We encourage participation in other USASA events held in New Hampshire.
