A large outdoor renovation has come to Camp III with the installation of a new heated patio equipped with wind protection, additional seating and new chairs and tables. The old wooden deck has been removed and a new foundation has been poured in preparation for its replacement. Once fully completed the new outdoor area will boast glass weather shields that will still allow for the enjoyment of the scenic views. These upgrades will allow guests to enjoy more time outdoors even on cooler days.

To reduce waste at the mid-mountain lodge, Camp III will make the switch to reusable plates, flatware, and cups. As an active participant in the NSAA’s Sustainable Slopes Loon is focused on improving environmental practices to reach our long-term goal of carbon neutral by 2030.
