After a two-year hiatus, the Golden Gala- a night devoted to celebrating and giving back made its return in January 2023.

The event is a fundraiser for the Loon Mountain Community Fund and featured snow cat rides, and an evening skyride to the Summit Café for cocktail hour. Upon returning to the Octagon Lodge, guests heard from a guest speaker who shared their story of benefiting from the Fund. Her experience with the Fund influenced her in helping dedicate resources to those now in need.

Also included in the evening’s activities were silent and live auctions, all of which collectively led to raising over $39,000- making this year’s event the largest fundraiser to date.

The Loon Mountain Area Community Fund, dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities surrounding Loon Mountain, has raised over $220,000 to date.
