November Update

"Waiting is the Hardest Part..."

November 19, 2020

Teams across the resort are working around the clock, navigating the challenges of both the weather and the pandemic, to get the resort closer to opening day. During this cold streak, our snowmaking team has been full throttle covering trails on North Peak, Loon Peak and in the West Basin. They have made great progress thus far, as they roll with the fluctuating temperatures.

However, the weather forecast ahead has pushed us to opening past the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Our snowmaking and mountain operations teams will continue to maximize every cold moment along the way, as we aim to open with more terrain than years prior to promote social distancing. Keep an eye on your inbox over the Thanksgiving weekend for an update on our projected opening day.

The anticipation around the upcoming ski season is far beyond average and these are trying times for us all. The constant among all this change must be our commitment to health – for ourselves, our families and our communities. This is the time to be steadfast and vigilant – we’re in this together.

Pass Holders Kickoff

On opening day, Loon will be open to season pass holders only. This includes New England Pass, Loon (resort-specific) Pass and Ikon Pass holders. Season pass holders can use Friends tickets and Ikon Pass holders can use Friends & Family tickets during this time and must be redeemed at a ticket window. Vouchers from the 2019/20 winter season that have been extended for use this winter can also be used during this period as well.

Rollover Extended

Worry-Free Winter Assurance

To give you more time to consider your options, the Rollover deadline has been extended to January 15, 2021. If you have not used your pass, you can rollover the monetary value of your 2020/21 pass to the 2021/22 season, for any reason, through January 15, 2021. Additionally, New England 5-Day product will now be valid during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 winter seasons.
