News & Community / Media Center

Dear Friend:

Welcome to another great season at Loon Mountain and our new media center.  This is where you’ll find press releases, photos and links to download broadcast-quality video.

Our biggest news of the season is the opening of our first-ever double black diamond trail, Rip Saw. You will definitely want to tighten your goggles before you head down it! It's all part of our $16 million South Peak expansion.

I could go on and on about our continued upgrades to our arsenal of low-energy snowmaking guns, our new carpet lift, or the new home for New England Disabled Sports.  But, I will let you peruse the media center and decide which stories are of most interest to your readers, viewers and listeners.

Yeah, I do have a pretty good email address: slopes@loonmtn.com, but I have an even better office- a spiral staircase away from the Gondola.  So please drop me a line or climb up the stairs and say hi.

All the best,
Stacy Lopes
