Events, Activities & Services Mountaintop Sunday Summit Worship Services
Winter Worship Schedule
Our downhill worship service starts the Sunday before Christmas and ends on Easter. Combining skiing and worship, this unique worship format begins from the deck of the Summit Cafe at 11:00a (allow 30 minutes for lifts and lines to arrive on time), and consists of two more stops along Bear Claw (a beginner's trail).
An average of 25 people come together every Sunday to participate in this inspirational and innovative worship experience. A complimentary group photo is provided and a lift ticket required (sorry, no discounted lift tickets provided for this service).
Listen to Skip Schwarz's 2011 radio interview on NPR's Only a Game.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Held at 7:00p on Christmas Eve in the Gov. Adam's Lodge, this popular service combines Christmas carols with special music, an uplifting message and candle lighting to provide an inspirational start to your Christmas celebration.
Summer Worship Schedule
Every Sunday during our summer season, the Reverend Skip Schwarz conducts popular and inspirational church services at the outdoor amphitheater on top of Loon Mountain.
There is one service at 10:00am every Sunday, from mid-June through Labor Day. The gondola departs at 9:30 for the 10:00a service, rain or shine. A reduced-rate $6 gondola ticket is available until 9:45am. Ask for the "Church Ticket" in the gift shop. Children 5 and under are free.
