Ski & Snowboard Lessons Junior Seasonal Ski and Snowboard Program

The Junior Seasonal Program is part of the award-winning Loon Mountain Ski & Snowboard School, and feeder program to the rapidly growing Snowboard & Alpine Freeride Competition Team, and the newly-created XTeam Seasonal Program.

This camp is specifically designed for kids 7-17 years old who are Levels 4-7. Children are assigned to groups based on age and ability providing the opportunity for a coach to guide each group according to their level of skill and development.

The focus is on teaching and experiencing the joys of learning and mastering all the conditions and challenging situations the mountain can offer. Junior Seasonal participants will make lifelong friends and memories as they explore the mountain and improve their skills.

Kids will enjoy lunch in their private dining facility located adjacent to Wanigan's Deli. Groups rotate in and out at pre-scheduled times for a good, hot lunch to energize them for more action on the mountain.

Fun special events and social functions occur throughout the season.

Junior Seasonal Program Details & Benefits

All Junior Seasonal Campers enjoy these great benefits:

• Up to 40 days of on-snow training (if all sessions are attended)
• Every weekend 12/11/10 – 3/20/11
• Holiday periods include: Christmas/New Year's Week (12/24/10 – 1/2/11), Martin Luther King Weekend (1/15 – 1/17/11), and Presidents' Week (2/12 – 2/20/11). Program does not include NH Vacation Week (2/21 – 25/11) 
• Program does not meet 12/25/10 and 1/1/11
• Enjoy express lift access (Season pass/lift ticket necessary for participation; not included in rate)
• Curriculum-based program, including safety and etiquette training to ensure consistency and well-rounded development
• Camaraderie of other campers similar in age and ability level
• Gate training through Race City at no additional charge
• Foul weather activities, if necessary
• Lunch, snacks and supervised break times each day

Check In / Pick Up Information

Groups depart the Junior Seasonal corral at 9:00 a.m. and return for pick-up at 3:00 p.m. All participants should arrive at the Junior Seasonal building located at the Octagon base appropriately dressed for a day of fun on the mountain and ready to ski.

A season pass or valid lift ticket is required to ski in a program group, and is not included in the program price. An appropriate signed Release of Liability, registration form, and payment must be submitted and placed on file prior to the first day of participation.

Seasonal Ski/Snowboard Program Refund Policy

No refunds, except in the case of illness or injury that precludes the individual from participating for the remainder of the season. Deductions will be made for usage at an average daily price, plus a 10% processing charge.
