Customized Private Lessons

Whether you’re a beginner or an expert looking to perfect your turns, a private lesson is the way to go. With one-on-one teaching from a Loon Mountain Ski & Snowboard School instructor, you’ll get the most out of yourself - and the mountain.

Private lessons can run from one to six hours, and are available to all skiers and snowboarders, starting at age three. 

Specialty Privates

If you’re looking to hone your skills the race course, go bigger in the park & pipe, or learn how to telemark ski, our expert instructors will show you the ropes. Call or stop at any of our Snowsports desks to see if we can accommodate your request.

If you had a great lesson with a particular instructor, feel free to ask for that instructor again. We try our best to honor such requests. 

Important Info

Loon Mountain Ski and Snowboard School offers private lessons that last from one hour to six hours. Advance reservations can be made for private lessons of three or more hours. One and two-hour private are reserved on the day of the lesson on a first-come, first-served basis. Private lesson availability is limited and reservations are required. Call or stop at any of our Snowsports desks to reserve your lessons.

1-Hour Private Lesson: $155
2-Hour Private Lesson: $265
3-Hour Private Lesson @ 9:00am or 12:30pm: $289
3-Hour Private Lesson @ 10:00am or 11:00am: $315
4-Hour Private Lesson: $339
5-Hour Private Lesson: $389
6-Hour Private Lesson: $449

Cancellation Policy

By reserving a private and semi-private lesson, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy, which states:
If you cancel up to two days prior to the date of your reservation, you will not be charged. If you cancel one day prior to the date of your reservation, you will be charged in full and you will receive a Loon-only credit in that dollar amount, to be used during the current winter season. If you cancel the day of your reservation, you will be charged in full.
