Please Note: As of March 29, the cross-country trails are closed for the remainder of the 2012-13 winter season.
The Adventure Center, located across from the main parking area, offers:
Loon offers 20 kilometers of cross country trails winding along the Pemigewasset River, with trails for every ability. Trails are groomed and tracked with the exception of steeps, which are only groomed.

The Adventure Center offers complimentary shuttle service to the trail system. The shuttle runs on the hour from 10a. to 4p.

Instructed (Beginner) Guided Tour
This fun, economical program is ideal for anyone who has never cross-country skied before or has skied only a few times. On this 2-hour guided tour, your guide first will instruct you on the basics of cross-country skiing. Once you feel ready, Loon's guides begin the guided portion of the session. On this tour, cross-country skiers will experience the serenity of the National Forest, with an interpretive tour of the local & natural history of the White Mountains.
