News & Community Loon Mountain Media Visit Guidelines
Media Planning Guide
Loon Mountain welcomes visits by media representatives on assignment, and we are happy to provide any assistance with your story. Please contact Katelyn Krumperman, Marketing and Communications Manager, directly about arranging your visit.
In order to assist you further, we'll need to know:
- The purpose of your visit
- Your media affiliation
- When and how long you plan to visit
Please note, we will do our best to accommodate your dates, but there may be times when we suggest other dates to avoid scheduling conflicts. We also request you send your story to us once it has been published.
Let us know if you are interested in tying in a visit to Sugarloaf, Sunday River or another Boyne Resort around your trip to Loon Mountain, and we can work with their Communications Manager to help get you started.
Complimentary Lift TicketsComplimentary lift tickets may be issued to media on assignment and are subject to availability and approval.
Complimentary LodgingDepending on availability and the time of year, we may be able to provide complimentary or discounted lodging for a limited time to visiting media who are on assignment. Please be sure to include with your request date and party information.
If you plan to visit during a peak period, please give us at least two weeks' notice, and we will do our best to assist you with finding a media rate for lodging.
Holiday or Peak PeriodsTypically, we are not able to host media during holiday periods. These dates for 2010-2011 are: Sun. 12/26 – Sun. 1/2; Sat. 1/15 – Mon. 1/17; Sat. 2/19 - Sun 2/27.
