Learn to Ski & Snowboard Programs
Levels 1–5 PK BOO – Age 3 (ski only)
Children enjoy up to 1 hour of on-hill time in the morning and 1 hour of on-hill time in the afternoon. Age-appropriate instructor-to-child ratios optimize learning. Lesson, lift ticket, hot cocoa breaks and snacks are provided for students. Morning half-day and full-day participants receive a hot lunch.
Levels 1–5 KINDERBEAR – Ages 4 – 6
Children either ski or snowboard for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Age-appropriate instructor-to-child ratios optimize learning. Lesson, lift ticket, hot cocoa breaks and snacks are provided for students. Morning half-day and full-day participants receive a hot lunch.

Riglet Park Experience Ages 3-6 Snowboard
Riglet Park Experience (ages 3-6, snowboard) using the Paul Bunyan-themed Riglet Park - complete with wood carvings of owls, bears and a replica steam train - beginner riders are immersed in a creative & playful environment to enhance their first experience of sliding on snow. The Riglet Park Experience includes: lift ticket, lesson, lunch, snacks, indoor-outdoor games and activities - all for $129!
Add the Riglet Rental for $22. This kid-specific set-up of Burton rental equipment including the Riglet Reel will be the perfect fit. Reservations are strongly recommended - these programs do sell out. Please call 800-229-LOON(5666) to reserve your Riglet Park Experience.

Level 1 Discovery Camp - Ages 7-12
Never skied or snowboarded--no problem! Snowsports pros use innovative teaching techniques to start you out right in our camp specially designed for kids 7-12 years old. Campers enjoy full-day lift access and lots of on-snow learning.
Groups form in the Snowsports Zone (near the Kissin’ Cousins Lift) on snow and ready to go, starting at 9:45AM. Completed child checks are required for each child.
Full-day campers ski and ride from 10:00AM - 3:30PM and enjoy lunch with their instructor. Morning-only campers meet up with their parents in the Zone at 1:00pm, after skiing/riding and lunch.
Not an early bird? Join us in the Zone for a half-day session from 12:30-3:30PM. Please note that lunch is not included in this session, so children should eat before they arrive.

Level 1 Adult Group Intro Packages & Lessons - Ages 13+
So, it's your first time on snow, and you don't know what to do? Sign up for a Learn to Ski/Ride Package and get hooked on a great new winter sport! You'll get an all-day novice* lift ticket, all-day rental equipment and choose either a five-hour or a three-hour group lesson--all for one price!
Once you're geared up at the Mountainside Rental Shop, head out to the Snowsports Zone (near the Kissin' Cousins lift) to meet your Snowsports pro on the snow. Groups meet daily.
Five hour lessons run from 10:00AM - 3:30PM, with a half hour lunch break. Three-hour lessons run from 10:00AM - 1:00PM or 12:30 to 3:30PM. Be sure to allow extra time when you arrive to get your rental equipment and get geared up.

*Novice Lift Ticket gives you access to 3 lifts (Kissin' Cousins Double Chair, Little Sister Double Chair & Sarsaparilla Magic Carpet) and 4 trails (Sarsaparilla, Snubber, Little Sister and the bottom portion of Lower Bear Claw).
Cancellation Policy
By reserving a lesson, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy, which states:
If you cancel up to two days prior to the date of your reservation, you will not be charged. If you cancel one day prior to the date of your reservation, you will be charged in full and you will receive a Loon-only credit in that dollar amount, to be used during the current winter season. If you cancel the day of your reservation, you will be charged in full.
