9th ANNUAL NEW ENGLAND

SHOP SHOWDOWN

Shop Showdown brings the best of the best to Loon Mtn for one day of super fun snowboarding and friendly competition.  Snowboard shops from all over the Northeast send 2 riders to compete in 3 different venues for bragging rights and the coveted Shop Showdown trophy.

FORMAT:
    -Open Division
    -Each Shop has 2 riders
    -Each rider competes in all 3 sessions
    -Winner determined by total team score


TIMES/LOCATIONS:
Sunday, March 27th, 2011
8:00 - 10:00 Registration at Bunyan Room in Octagon Lodge
10:30ish Costume judging / Riders meeting at Shaping Shack
10:30 First Session starts

RULES:
    -Each team and each team rider must complete on all 3 obstacles to win.
    -NO PAID RIDERS only endorsed (sponsored)
    -Each rider is allowed to snake as much as they wish.
    -No biting, pinching, slapping, or scratching.
    -Switch riding must be represented by some steeze on your back leg.
    -Bibs must be worn at all times during runs and must be visible.
    -Only 2 shop teams per company.  Companies can add additional teams only if there is less than 18 teams.  This will be done on a first come first serve basic.
    -REMEMBER HEAVIES....This event is for the up and comers not the ringers who travel with the snow.
    -Last rule...we might make up some other rules!


PRIZES:
    -1st place:  Cash money, Team lodging & lift tickets at a Brighton Resort, and 2 Oakley prize pack!!   Plus the coveted Shop Showdown Team Trophy.

    -2nd place:  2 Nights lodging at the Mountain Club on Loon (Includes 6 2-day lift tickets), and 2 Oakley prize packs.

    -3rd place:  200 dolla bills yo and 2 Oakley prize packs.

As well as, other sweet gear from Oakley, Foursquare, Forum, & there will be plenty of Red Bull to drink!
