'80s DAY

Do you often wish you were of age to party hard in the '80s?  Well come on up and deck yourselve out...fluorescent one-pieces, rear-entry boots, and nappy rockstar hair are encouraged.   It's like Halloween, except it's April.  Last season, even Slash made and appearance on an old Burton Air....well maybe not, but it was one hell of a costume!

4/5/14

NEFF BEACH BASH

Neff brings their beach-themed party/rail jam to Loon for the only east coast stop of the Neff Beach Bash.  This loosely formatted rail jam consists of one centralized feature with a variety of options, including Loon's Nef Wallrides adn some other beachy stuff.  Beach attire is very much encouraged, and since this event will be taking place on Loon's 5th annual '80s Day, neon is extremely recommended.  1980's rock-out music will be blasting in the Octagon base area and the truly radical '80s cover band, Fast Times, will be playing live at 2pm!
The Neff Beach bash is a free event.

Registration is from 9:00 - 10:30 in the Bunyan Room.
Beach Bash: 12-1:30
Bash Finals: 1:30-2:00

4/13/14

STREET CRED

Not a rail jam. Street spots…on snow. Little Sister trail transforms into a snowboarders paradise--a full urban landscape of rails, concrete ledges, stop signs and yes, even a fried dough cart. Plus, freshly welded features, crafted at Loon’s Shaping Shack, will be unveiled and ready to grind. And oh ya…you’ll have your own private chairlift. How’s that for VIP service?
$2000 is up for grabs…but it doesn’t all go to the winner. $500 will go to the overall winner and $1500 will be given away during the event, in a cash-for-tricks format. Throw down. Your wallet will thank you.
A great end-of-season spectator friendly event. Watch New England's top riders push each other in an all out urban attack...on snow.

Sponsored by: Red Bull, 47 Brand, Oakley, Volcom and Snowboarder Magazine
