Thanksjibbing Rail Jam and Movie Premier
Popular early season nighttime rail jam for skiers and snowboarders. Competitors compete for cash and product. Movie premiere to follow the event.
December 2 - Open Season Rail Jam I
The first in a series of three events for skiers and snowboarders 16 and younger. This series is an introduction to competition in the terrain park.
December 3 - USASA Jib
USASA registered members compete in jib contest to earn points towards end-of-season nationals.
December 9 - 10 - Ring In Winter Celebration
Jingle bells will be sold throughout the resort over the weekend with all the proceeds being donated to the Angel Tree Project in Plymouth, NH. The Angel Tree projects works with local families to supply gifts for kids for the holidays.
December 17 - Demo Day
Test the newest equipment from top manufacturer in the ski and snowboard industry. Must be 18 or older and have a valid driver's license or credit card. $10 registration fee.
December 24 - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
A non-denominational celebration of the holiday season that will take place in the Governors Lodge.
December 30 - Open Season Rail Jam Series II
The second competiion in a series of three events for snowboarders 16 and younger. This series is an introduction to competition in the terrain park.
January 6 - USASA GS/SL
Snowboarders compete in GS/SL competition to earn points for end-of-season Nationals.
January 7 - Diana Golden Adaptive Race
An adaptive race for skiers and snowboarders.
January 13 - 15 - 40th Anniversary Celebration
Loon Mountain celebrates its 40th birthday on Independence Weekend with a tribute to snowmaking that includes fireworks, snow cat rides, a torchlight parade and a personal appearance by a ten-foot tall Uncle Sam.
January 20 - USASA Slopestyle
Snowboarders compete in Slopestyle competition to earn points for end-of-season Nationals.
January 21 - USASA Superpipe
Snowboarders compete in superpipe to earn points for end-of-season Nationals.
February 9 - CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of N.H. Snowfest
Loon Mountain and WMUR-TV 9 team up to raise awareness and funds for CASA of N.H. Join local TV celebrities on the slopes.
February 10 - 11 - Grenade Strikes Back
February 22 - Open Season Rail Jam Final
The final competiion in a series of three events for snowboarders 16 and younger. This series is an introduction to competition in the terrain park.
February 22 - 24 - Fluorescent Nights
Loon Mountain will light up their Superpipe and the lower part of the LMP for skiers and snowboarders as the sun goes down.
February 24 - USASA Superpipe Competition
Snowboarders compete in Superpipe under the lights at Fluorescent Nights to earn points for end-of-season Nationals.
February 25 - The Main Event
Park event sponsored by the Main Event, Burton Snowboards, Flow and Oakley. Overall series winners, male and female, get a wildcard spot at the 2007 U.S. Open Slopestyle Competition!
March 3 - TJX Briefcase Race with Mike Lynch
Teams or individuals race in a dual slalom format, dressed in business attire, while carrying a briefcase. Proceeds to benefit Faulkner Breast Cancer Centre Research Fund.
Shut Up and Snowskate
A snowskate competition.
March 4 - Red Bull Schooled Ski Event
Top Ski Academies compete in the Red Bull Sponsored Event. Who will earn this year's top honors?
March 10 - Shop Showdown
Sponsored riders from snowboard shops around New England compete for honors in park competitions.

Fundraiser race for Loon's adaptive ski program
March 21 - Last Call with Eastern Boarder
A snowboard competition, sponsored by Eastern Boarder, with $6,000 on the line.
March 25 - Cardboard Box Classic
A race of artistic distinction open to all. Anything goes - as long as it's built from corrugated cardboard. Prizes will be awarded for artistic expression as well as sliding performance.
March 31 - Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Finals
Top Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge winners gather at Loon Mountain for the season's finals.
April 7 - Slush Pool Party
Outrageous fun for competitors and spectators. This rite of spring is open to anyone willing to take on the slush pool. Skiers and snowboarders don tropical attire and attempt to cross the pool of slush without taking a chilling plunge. Prizes are awarded in assorted categories.
April 8 - Easter Sunday Sunrise Service and Egg Hunt
