NEW TUBING AREA OFFERS WINTER FUN MORNING THROUGH NIGHT
LINCOLN, N.H. - This season, tubing will be offered on the Little Sister Trail on the Octagon side of Loon Mountain. This move allows for continuous operation from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., on more conducive terrain for all ability levels using steerable tubes. Lift serviced tubing is offered for those 8 years old or older and taller than 48". Walk up tubing is also available for younger kids.
"Guests that choose to include tubing into their visit to Loon Mountain will have a blast," said General Manager Rick Kelley. "The thrill of gliding down the hill on tubes adds an unprecedented feeling that brings us all back to when we were kids."
In addition to snow tubing excitement, the Loon Mountain Adventure Center is the hub for ice skating, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, the indoor climbing wall and full-service shop. Ice skating is open every day of the winter season, weather permitting, right outside of the Adventure Center. Rentals for all these activities are available for all ages out of the Adventure Center as are specialty workshops for all abilities. The Adventure Center is also a full service repair shop for Nordic equipment and ice skating.
Located inside the Adventure Center, a 25-foot climbing wall will offer guests a challenge while inside. Easy enough for beginners and challenging for experienced climbers; the wall offers many different angles, pitches and routes. Harnesses and ropes are provided along with a knowledgeable staff to get you on your way.
