2015-16 Mountain Facts

South Peak - Loon's newest peak opened in 2007, and currently boasts seven trails, two lifts, and nearly 70 acres of skiing and riding.

Accolades - Loon grabbed a coveted Top 10 spot in the 2012 SKI Magazine reader poll, and the resort was also voted the most accessible the East. Loon's terrrain parks recently grabbed top honors from FreeskierMagazine.com, claiming #1 Parks in the East. And a  2012 Transworld Snowboarding reader poll ranked Loon's parks 3rd in the East.

Terrain Parks
 - 
Loon Mountain has six terrain parks for all abilities, including two innovative parks for kids - The Burton Riglet Park and Lil' Stash. Options range all the way up to the mile-long Loon Mountain Park.

Superpipe - Home to the only Superpipe in New Hampshire, this massive pipe is 425 feet long with 18-foot-high walls.

Tubing
 - Day and night lift-served tubing is available for ages eight and up on the Little Sister trail. Walk-up tot-tubing is also available.

Ski and Snowboard School - Loon offers guests a variety of snowsports learning programs, including: customizable private lessons (3 hours or all-day), children's ski camps (ages 3-teen), women-specific programs such as Women's Peak Performance Camps; telemark clinics; senior programs; season-long programs; and the New England Disabled Sports. Daycare is also available for children 6 weeks and older, and children not yet ready to ski.

Nordic Skiing & Snowshoeing - Ski or snowshoe along 20 km of groomed trails that parallel the Pemigewasset River and climb high into the White Mountain National Forest.  Rentals, lessons, telemark and backcountry equipment is also available.

Zipline - There's nothing quite like ziplining 700 feet across the raging Pemigewasset River. The zipline is open weekends and select holidays during winter. In summer, the zipline is open daily from opening day through Labor Day, and weekends from Labor Day through Columbus Day Weekend.

Groups - Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more guests. Corporate rates are also available. Activities, including private meeting space and guided mountain tours can be organized by Loon Group Sales, plus catered meal options.
