Learn to Ski & Ride

Level 1 Adult Group Learn-to-Ski or Snowboard Packages (Ages 13+) & Learner's Passport

There’s a first time for everything. Sign up for an Adult Learn-To -Ski or Snowboard package and let our dedicated instructors teach you the basics in a relaxed, fun setting. Since these lessons include a novice lift ticket* and rentals, you’ll be able to concentrate on what matters most: learning.

Take your first package lesson and you'll receive a Learner's Passport - and you'll be on your way to a season full of savings! Bring your Passport back and complete a second Learn-To package, and receive a FREE Learner's Club Card, entitling you to FREE rental equipment use at Loon for the rest of this season, plus savings of up to $25/day on lift tickets!

If you’re taking a full day lesson, you’ll ski or ride from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a half hour lunch break. Half-day lessons run three hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Groups meet in the Snowsports Zone near the Kissin’ Cousins lift.

Please Note: Lesson participants ages 13 and older in group lessons are released unescorted for lunch and at lesson's end, as are all adult participants.

Learn to Ski/Ride Packages:
Full-Day Novice* Lift Ticket & Rental, plus 5-hour lesson: $149
Full-Day Novice* Lift Ticket & Rental, plus 3-hour lesson: $109
*Novice Lift Ticket gives you access to 3 lifts (Kissin' Cousins Double Chair, Little Sister Double Chair & Sarsaparilla Magic Carpet) and 4 trails (Sarsaparilla, Snubber, Little Sister and the bottom portion of Lower Bear Claw).

Group Lessons:
Full-Day (5-hour) Lesson Only: $109
Half-Day (3-hour) Lesson Only: $85

Cancellation Policy

By reserving a lesson, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy, which states:
If you cancel up to two days prior to the date of your reservation, you will not be charged. If you cancel one day prior to the date of your reservation, you will be charged in full and you will receive a Loon-only credit in that dollar amount, to be used during the current winter season. If you cancel the day of your reservation, you will be charged in full.
