Learn to Ski & Ride

Level 1 Adult Group Learn-to-Ski or Snowboard Packages (Ages 13+)

Learner's Passport and Ultra Learner's Club

There’s a first time for everything. Sign up for an Adult Learn-to -Ski or Snowboard package and let our dedicated instructors teach you the basics in a relaxed, fun setting. Since these lessons include a novice lift ticket* and rentals, you’ll be able to concentrate on what matters most: learning.

New ULTRA Learner's Club featuring HEAD Skis and Bindings

Become an Ultra Learner's Club member when you book three Learn-to-Ski packages, for a total of $339. Each day includes a novice lift ticket, rental equipment and lesson.

Complete your third day, and you'll be eligible for a FREE pair of HEAD skis and bindings! You'll also receive a free Learner's Club Card, entitling you to lift ticket savings of $15/day on weekends and holidays, and $25/day midweek, non-holiday at Loon for the rest of this season.

You'll also qualify for special savings on other select gear, apparel and accessories available at Loon Mountain Sports. This program is available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Learner's Club

Take an adult Learn-to-Ski or Snowboard package (includes a novice lift ticket, rental equipment and a lesson), and you'll receive a Learner's Passport. Bring your Passport back and complete a second Learn-To package, and you'll receive a FREE Learner's Club Card, entitling you to FREE rental equipment use at Loon for the rest of this season, plus lift ticket savings of $15/day on weekends and holidays, and $25/day midweek, non-holiday.

If you’re taking a full-day lesson, you’ll ski or ride from 10:00a to 3:30p, with a half-hour lunch break. Half-day lessons run three hours, from 10:00a to 1:00p, or 12:30p to 3:30p. Groups meet in the Snowsports Zone near the Kissin’ Cousins lift.

Please Note: Lesson participants ages 13 and older in group lessons are released unescorted for lunch and at lesson's end, as are all adult participants.

Learn to Ski/Ride Packages:
Full-Day Novice* Lift Ticket & Rental, plus 5-hour lesson: $153
Full-Day Novice* Lift Ticket & Rental, plus 3-hour lesson: $112
*Novice Lift Ticket gives you access to 3 lifts (Kissin' Cousins Double Chair, Little Sister Double Chair & Sarsaparilla Magic Carpet) and 4 trails (Sarsaparilla, Snubber, Little Sister and the bottom portion of Lower Bear Claw).

Group Lessons:
Full-Day (5-hour) Lesson Only: $112
Half-Day (3-hour) Lesson Only: $87

Cancellation Policy

By reserving a lesson, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy, which states:
If you cancel up to two days prior to the date of your reservation, you will not be charged. If you cancel one day prior to the date of your reservation, you will be charged in full and you will receive a Loon-only credit in that dollar amount, to be used during the current winter season. If you cancel the day of your reservation, you will be charged in full.
